SHG Advisors provides training / Q & A sessions for grant applicants to Denver Foundation’s Colorado Health Access Fund. These trainings have been held in Denver and require potential applicants to attend in person. Because the fund increasingly supports community programs in rural areas all around Colorado, this model was limiting access to potential grantees in remote areas due to time and travel expense.
Lynx provided a two-camera live webcast of the training, including live switching from presenters to slides. Remote participants could ask questions via a chat room. We were able to make the video of the entire event available on Livestream immediately after the event, thanks to on-point live production and switching.
As a result, many small health care initiatives all around Colorado can now access this training and submit effective grant applications who otherwise might have been excluded from the process.
