All of his life Pepé has been fascinated with music and audio technology. After studying acoustics and recording engineering, He spent over 10 years working in studios in Massachusetts and the San Francisco area, while also working for a number of sound companies, and doing concert sound for numerous groups and solo artists such as Chick Corea/Return to Forever; John McLaughlin/Mahavishnu Orchestra; Jesse Colin Young; Livingston Taylor; The John Payne Band; George Thorogood, and many others.
After this he worked for a number of non-profits, managing audio departments, designing and running several project studios, and managing, digitizing, and restoring large archives of recorded material. Additionally, Pepé has mastered hundreds of music and spoken word releases over the years, and has cleaned up all sorts of problematic recordings using the latest restoration tools and techniques.
In recent years he has traveled extensively managing content capture (audio and video) for large conventions, conferences and corporate events, as well as producing live event webcasts. He has been employed by Content Management Corp, Multiview, Conference Media, Conference Recording Service, and Talkpoint among others producing hundreds of shows in all parts of the country.
Currently, Pepé has a focus on field recording for video productions, and post production of audio for video.
He especially loves to manage creative projects, making sure all the pieces fit together and come together within budget and on time!
